Photography Exhibition on Gola
As part of the Gola Island Festival this year there was an exhibition of old photographs collected by three members of the Festival Committee.
There are 70 photographs in the exhibition and they are currently exhibited at ‘An Teach Beag’ on the island.
All the photographs are black and white and all were taken in the 40′ and 50′ on Gola Island.
The exhibition will be open on the island until the end of August and then it will be exhibited at Acadamh na hOllscolaíochta Gaeilge at Páirc Ghnó Ghaoth Dobhair for the month of Spetember.
Copies of photographs in the exhibition can be purchases from Coiste Forbartha Ghabhla.
